There’s a few comments flying round the photo-blogo-sphere at the moment about Kodak cashing up it’s chips in the 35mm film camera market. A good one on Photodude with some through links to news stories and op-ed articles.
I know nothing about the finer points of the photographic industry but general opinion seems that it was too late, they should have done it earlier. I suppose with the drop in demand for film cameras that there will be quite a few casualties before 35mm becomes a some old skool vintage enthusiasts realm with a few old companies still making curious for folks like me.
