I just had a big foamy full bodied capuchino and I’m all twitchy. Vibrating all over.
Boring personal blog post I know, but had to try and tell someone.

You can’t beat entropy? Seems you can. Some physics dude’s at the aussie national university seem to have figured out a way to beat the “it all ends up in chaos” problem. Well not quite. Just seems that on small scales the entropy quotient can go backwards as well as forwards. Entropy turns out to be yet another macroscopic approximation of a more complex quantum level effect.
This has a big impact on things like getting predictable results from nanotechnology. And no it doesn’t mean we escape the great universal heat death.
I got second place in an ultra short story competition for the Labyrinth (a site/project run by this author Kate Moss). Read “Clean” here.
Aaarrgghh. The good ol’ US of A strong arms the world, throwing it’s weight around in the UN security council. BBC News Story about a deal that makes US soldiers immune to prosecution.
Someone else has come up with my idea of a couple of pence from everyone. She’s being greedy and asking for more though. Just wait for affordable micropayments and the day when everyone is registered as a charity. Well with a debt of $20k you’re certainly a not-for-profit organisation.
Stick on boggly eyes. Wow. I want to live in Japan so I can spend all my hard earned cash on silly little stickers. No really I do.

I enjoyed both, but still have an underlying…

I just went to see the Game On exhibition at the barbican. I had a blast. Retro gaming, docos, great exhibit design, I’m considering going again. If I could get a season pass I would.
What excited me the most was seeing Sony’s new Liquid Fire demo. You can physically interact with objects on screen. In this version we could push a ball around and when we waved our arms they exploded in smokey flames.
… oh and saw lots of cute pictures of Toro.

Just a wee update. It’s been 17 days on the coffee wagon. I’ve not been 100% good and have slipped in the occasional sneaky tea (especially during my course last week). And I did let myself off while big chillin. I’ve not noticed any energy level increases, but I do think I am sleeping better at night.
Where have I been?
I’ve just taken an extended break go to a week long creative writing workshop. Then had a mad long weekend at the big chill. Followed by a minor crisis of confidence.
On top of that we here at digitaldust have been experiencing minor technical difficulties. But now we are back with complete control over your vertical and your horizontal.
For anyone reading normal transmissions should be resumed.
